Reiki and Transformational Breath®

Reiki is a Japanese technique of applying and balancing energy or electrical patterns, addressing the body, mind and spirit. A Reiki treatment is given by a Reiki practitioner placing hands on or above parts of the receiver's body. Reiki is gentle and non-intrusive and brings wholeness to the recipient and the Reiki practitioner. A treatment feels like a wonderful glowing radiance that surrounds and flows through the recipient. Reiki treats the whole person and creates many beneficial effects including relaxation and feelings of peace, security, and well-being. It restores the natural energy balance in the body; provides deep relaxation, evokes a sense of peace and well-being; brings mental clarity, insights and vivid images; and compliments the healing properties of other medical treatments and therapies.

What are the physical benefits of Transformational Breath®?

  • Increases oxygenation throughout the body
  • Improves energy levels
  • Stimulates circulation
  • Balances the flow of energy through the body
  • Resolves addictions
  • Improves well-being for many conditions and ailments such as Stress Reduction, Respiratory ailments, Headaches, Low energy, Psychosomatic illnesses, Anaerobic diseases, and many others.

Yoga Therapy

Christi Messer began her yoga practice in 1998 after years of searching for a way to be connected with authenticity and the desire to be naturally healthy. Since this time, not only has she seen her body respond positively to yoga asana and meditation when encountered with injury and pain, she has also seen many others improve their quality of life through its healing properties in both the studio and clinical settings. Yoga has become an essential discipline in her life that continuously humbles.

Christi is a Yoga Alliance Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT) who has dedicated her undergraduate and graduate studies to exercise science, anatomy, teaching and therapeutic recreation. After some time spent in this academic journey she gained the understanding that with a consistent Iyengar and Ashtanga practice, yoga is the path for recovery, power and flow.

In addition to teaching various styles of yoga that stretch, strengthen and align the body, she offers a private office/studio within Synergy that specializes in personalized yoga therapy for increased mobility, pain, peace of mind, and maintenance of strength. This custom training is for athletes, sedentary individuals and partners wishing to advance their practice and health.

Massage Therapy

Rachel Suarez graduated from AMTT, Academy for Massage Therapy Training, in 2008, and after 6 years of working in the spa setting, decided to start her own massage therapy practice. When people think of a massage, they think of the pampering, lighter touch massage that's given at spas.  To be considered relaxing, this type of massage is not usually intended to work on the chronic pain conditions that people have.  Rachel doesn’t believe this has to be the case for most people looking for relief from chronic pain.  She believes that by putting the mind and body into a state of deep relaxation, she is able to effectively relieve tension buried deep within the soft tissue (muscles, tendons, ligaments and fascia).  Every body is different, therefore every massage should be too!

Deep tissue, relaxation, and sports massage integrated effectively to heal both the body and the mind.

Ayurvedic Healing, Yoga Therapy, Breathwork

Debby Andersen, E-RYT 200, RYT 500, C. Ayu., blends the ancient wisdom of Yoga and Ayurveda into a practical, modern-day path of self-discovery and healing.

Ayurveda is the art and science of longevity, and this ancient healing tradition will teach you how to achieve balance, optimize health, and manage disease symptoms. Ayurveda is a system of holistic medicine that is native to India and shares its philosophical background and therapeutic framework with Yoga. Yoga is a path of awakening through realization of the true self, and Ayurveda supports this path through aligning the body and mind with the healing qualities of the natural world around us.

Debby is certified to practice Ayurveda through Ayurvedic Institute (Albuquerque, New Mexico) and is a NAMA-registered Ayurvedic Practitioner. She is also an IAYT-registered yoga therapist, and is certified to teach Hatha Yoga through Yoga Vidya Gurukal (Nasik, India) and Ayuryoga® through the Ayurvedic Institute.
