Moving to Heal Special Class with Debbie Rosas

Special Nia Class offered!
Do you teach with people in challenging situations? Hospitals, Pain Clinics, Nursing Homes, Cancer Centers, Eating Disorder Clinics, Patients with Alzheimer's, ALS, Brain injuries, PTSD, Wounded Warriors, etc.

Do you know someone who would benefit from the healing power of movement doing Nia? Do you want to know more?

Designed with the unifying theme of healing, Moving to Heal (MTH) teacher training provides instuctors with the knowledge and skills to deliver therapeutic benefits to students through the Nia class experience. Founded on the art of movement and the philosophy of The Body's Way, trainees learn techniques to adapt Nia therapeutically and how to successfully engage people using Nia movement and Dancing Through Life principles to feel better.

Topics covered include philosophy of healing and The Body's Way, sensation science, somatic anatomy, Nia movement, and how to work with music to enhance a therapeutic movement experience. The training places specific emphasis on the ethics of healing and compassionate leadership while considering the needs of diverse students, e.g., cancer patients, Parkinson's Disease, trauma recovery, or healing post-injury. The course includes topics on business and marketing.

While the training is only open to Nia Livelihood Members, Debbie and fellow trainers are offering a special class for the public while they are in San Antonio for the training!
