200-HOUR TEACHER TRAINING PROGRAM

Yoga Yoga Teacher Training, located in Austin, Texas, offers nationally recognized 200-Hour Yoga Teacher Training programs in Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow and Vinyasa  Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and 500-Hour Advanced Studies. Partnering with The Synergy Studio in San Antonio, Yoga Yoga is happy to continue to offer Yoga Yoga Teacher Training in San Antonio, taught by Yoga Yoga faculty.
We are an approved 200-hour and 500-hour Registered Yoga School (RYS) through Yoga Alliance. We have a deep-rooted dedication to the path and practice of training teachers to serve students of every level and tradition. Our Program emphasizes asana instruction; anatomy and physiology, teaching methods, safe and creative sequencing, integrated practice and the elements of classical yoga that make yoga a complete practice- meditation, pranayama, and yogic literature and language.
 Immerse yourself in the classical teaching of yoga as you learn and apply them both as a student and a teacher. Deepen your appreciation for the rich traditions of yoga.
Join us this fall and share in a community of dedicated yoga practitioners and teachers. Explore the teachings in a personal, in-depth format under the guidance of expert teachers!

FACULTY
You will work with teachers from a wide variety of traditions so you can experience the breadth and the depth of y oga. The teaching faculty of Yoga Yoga Teacher Training includes over 10 certified yoga teachers and professionals. Instructors come from a wide range of yoga teaching backgrounds in Hatha Yoga, Ashtanga Yoga, and Kundalini Yoga. The teaching staff includes professionals in the fields of yoga, physical therapy, Ayurveda, kinesiology, psychology, literature and language, and education.
Each 200-hour course is facilitated by a Lead Teacher who will steward your training, supported by the specialized knowledge of our supplemental faculty.

CERTIFICATION
Become a nationally Registered Yoga Teacher through Yoga Alliance and receive  certification as a Hatha Yoga Teacher. Yoga Yoga Teacher Training is a nationally registered yoga school with the Yoga Alliance.
Upon completion of this course, you will receive a Certificate of Completion. This Certificate indicates that you have fulfilled the national requirements to become a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT), the Yoga Alliance standard for teaching yoga in the United States and in other selected countries.

Yoga Yoga Teacher Training, located in Austin, Texas, offers nationally recognized 200-Hour and 500-Hour Yoga Teacher Training programs in Hatha Yoga, Hatha Flow and Vinyasa Yoga, Kundalini Yoga and 500-Hour Advanced Studies. Partnering with The Synergy Studio in San Antonio, Yoga Yoga is thrilled to launch the 500-Hour Advanced Studies training this summer.
We are an approved 200-hour and 500-hour Registered Yoga School (RYS) through Yoga Alliance. We have a deep-rooted dedication to the path and practice of training teachers to serve students of every level and tradition.
500-Hour Teacher Training Courses are open to all yoga teachers who wish to expand their knowledge and personal practice, acquire training in specialized areas of yoga instruction, and develop their teaching and professional skills. These courses may be taken for personal enrichment or career enhancement and may be used to fulfill the requirements for recognition as a 500-Hour Registered Yoga Teacher (RYT-500) by the Yoga Alliance organization of teachers and yoga schools.
The 500-Hour program is 300-Hours of specialized training offered after completion of your 200-Hour training, made up of 150 hours of Core Course Curriculum and 150 Hours of elective credit. Our Core Courses are about the development and deepening of your own practice as well as enhancing your teaching methodology and classroom communication. The essence of the Core Courses is about establishing your ability to use your applied knowledge and experience to become a more effective teacher.

ADVANCED ASANA PRACTICE AND INSTRUCTION
Taking your students to the next level of their asana practice, as well as developing your own practice of advanced postures, requires a set of teaching skills that understands the developmental process of learning the advanced asanas. In this training we will work on inversions (headstand, arm balances, backbends and hip openers. The training emphasizes sequencing skills, modifications and adaptations, helping students progress in their practice and introducing these postures to mixed level students.  Teachers at all level of practice are encouraged to enroll in the course.

PREREQUISITES
Completion of a 200-hour Hatha Yoga Teacher Training course.
