Course Description:
- Students will practice the asanas and pranayama of the Introductory
curriculum, paying attention to the principles of anatomy and
alignment.
- Students will be introduced to meditation, anatomy, yoga philosophy and
the theraputic aspects of yoga.
- Students will practice the methodology and study the ethics of
responsible teaching.
- Students will be introduced to a variety of styles of yoga.

The Esther Vexler Yoga School was established in 2007 to honor Esther Vexler, an inspirational teacher and pioneer of yoga in San Antonio. Our purpose is to:
Provide affordable hatha yoga teacher training
Educate the public about the benefits of yoga
Encourage collaboration in our yoga community
Tuition - $2,500
Partial scholarships are available to students accepted into the program.
Additional costs - for textbooks and classes with the teachers of your choice.
Our Philosophy
Yoga is for everybody! The benefits of yoga are available to people of all races, cultures, religions, age, and lifestyle. Generosity of spirit is one of the values of the Esther Vexler Yoga School. Our school is a registered non-profit organization, and our contributors have made it possible to give partial scholarships to aspiring yoga teachers.
