Dana Runge

Dana Runge.JPG

Dana was introduced to Pilates in 2004 as a way to mitigate back pain from scoliosis.  She saw immediate results and made it a part of her daily movement routine.  Her passion for  Joseph Pilates’s mind/body/spirit principles led her to take a leap of faith and complete The Fletcher Pilates Program of Study in 2012.  This intensive 700 hours of training developed her knowledge of movement, anatomy and breath work.  A new passion to “reintroduce” others to their bodies and find “body presence” was ignited.

Over the last six years, Dana has enjoyed teaching privates from her home studio and mat classes throughout San Antonio.  She is a PMA Certified Pilates Instructor and completed the Functional Anatomy for Movement and Injuries Workshop at Icahn School of Medicine, Mount Sinai Hospital.

When Dana isn’t in the studio, you can find her walking among the trees, cooking with love for her family, writing one of three stories, traveling to one of her life list locals or just simply being present and breathing fully!!!
